Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End

Though I saw it on Thursday, due to technical problems I haven't been able to post my review until today. This film looked like it had the potential to be great (hopefully) or awful (more probable). In the event it turned out to be neither - it had good bits and bad bits, overall it was worth watching but it wasn't as good as the second film, which wasn't as good as the first... so I'm kind of hoping they don't bother making a fourth film!

Here's the review: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End review.

Coming soon(ish):

The Simpsons Movie (Not sure about this one)
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (looks promising, the first film was okay so it doesn't have much to live up to)

The first Pirates of the Caribbean was great in every way, the best part of the other two was the special effects… the question now is, if they come out with a fourth, will it maintain the quality of the first?

Oops, hadn't really been expecting anyone to look at this much, far less comment!! In answer to your question... no, I don't think so (the fourth Indianda Jones movie certainly isn't up to the first anyway, and both X-Men and Spiderman completely lost the plot with the third films after excellent first and second movies.) We shall see, however!
