With all the American Presidential campaigning...

... it seemed appropriate to highlight two excellent comedies about the subject: Dave, starring Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver in a tale about a lookalike standing in for the American President, and staying in that position longer than anyone had anticipated; and The American President starring Michael Douglas as the incumbet president, whose re-election campaign hits a snag when he falls for a lobbyist (Annette Benning).

Both excellent films, and both highly enjoyable with or without a particular interest in politics!
