Bolt - Review
Here's my review of Disney's "Bolt" - a very enjoyable animated movie featuring Rhino (a hamster), who is one of the best comedic characters for a long time.
A randomly psychotic TV-addicted hamster... what's not to love, eh?

Push Review
My review of Push is ready - it's a rather unusual but also pretty enjoyable movie about people with superpowers, but it's definitely not your average superhero movie. Give it a try if you like movies that aren't mainstream.

My Top Ten Movies of 2008
I can't believe I've finally done it, but my Top Ten Movies of 2008 was my 1,000th review on Epinions!
2008 wasn't a great year for movies though... unless you like superhero movies or animated movies, it was a great year for those.

Trailers for three comedies that really don't look funny to me, but...
... I don't know, someone might like them and I could of course be wrong! Speaking of wrong... that's what I thought about them doing a remake of The Pink Panther in the first place, and now they've done a sequel...
Isla Fisher seems to be flavour of the month and is starring in the adaptation of a popular book. And we all know how well adaptations of popular books go, don't we? The book in question this time is Confessions of a Shoaholic. Haven't read it myself so I have no preconceptions about what the film should be like... but this trailer certainly doesn't make me feel inclined to find out what it actually is going to be like! I do like Steve Martin, but it just doesn't look funny...
... and nor does Bride Wars...
Of course, many will disagree, as they always do! :D

Push and Bolt
Or Bolt and Push...
Two movies I've watched at the cinema recently... Push was rather different and interesting, I enjoyed it but towards the end it go too silly and lost its atmosphere quite a lot. Bolt wasn't PIXAR's best but was a lot of fun, especially once Rhino the hamster was introduced. Expect your significant other to give way to tears once or twice!
There was one very young child who had to be taken out towards the end - the finale features a scene with bolt and his owner trapped in a burning building - if you had a very sensitive or very young child, it might be a bit much for them.
Reviews coming soon, trailers here now:
