Star Wars Uncut - Almost Finished!

The Star Wars Uncut project is almost ready for release. Basically the whole film has been spilt into chunks 15 seconds long, and people have filmed their own versions - whether using live action, cartoon animation, stop motion or whatever. The end result is going to be quite startling... trailer below!

This will be epic. Some bits are so corny they're hysterical. Others are so brilliant its awe-inspiring. The full video will be great.

I have to agree! I love it in the trailer when the Millenium Falcon zooms out of the Death Star as a hamburger on a plate then suddenly becomes a car driven by dogs. Crazy...

I just hope they keep the original soundtrack for all of it - the bits I've seen with people doing their own voicing aren't as good (though some of the sound effects are admittedly very funny).

It's probably a licensing issue. I wonder if Lucas is on board with it?

I think they'll have checked - he's apparently quite a fan of some of the indie Star Wars films that have been released. I know LucasArts legel department have battered a few small fansites / games out of existence though, so I don't know where the difference lies between those projects.
